Agri-Food XIII27 November - 30 November 2006 ~ University of Otago, Dunedin We're pleased to announce that two international leaders in the field of economic and feminist geography, Katherine Gibson and Julie Graham, have agreed to headline this yearâs Agri-Food meeting. While each has a distinguished career in her own right, the two are well-known for their collaborative writings under the pen name J. K. Gibson-Graham. J. K. Gibson-Graham's book titles include: The End of Capitalism (As We Knew It): A Feminist Critique of Political Economy, [Blackwell Publishers, Oxford UK and Cambridge USA, 1996]; and A Postcapitalist Politics, [Minneapolis, University of Minnesota Press, 2006]. The pair will deliver this year's Keynote Address and participate in Monday's Symposium. Thurs. 30 November 9:00 am: ARGOS On-Farm Tour. 6:00 pm: Annual Agri-Food Dinner and Awards. Fri. 1 December. 9:00 am: Transportation back to Dunedin. Full Registration - $200 NZD Early bird, $225 NZD normal registration, $75 NZD Student. - Registration fee per day includes GST, morning and afternoon teas and lunch.
