AAI offers links to organizations for more background on corporate power in the food system
For more information on the food industry, the government offices that regulate it,and how various organizations are challenging its power, select from the categories of links on the left. Here’s an overview of what you’ll find:
- Food System Reformers is a comprehensive list of groups that are challenging the disproportionate power of transnational agro-food companies in the current food system, and those which promote sustainable alternatives to this model.
- Academic Institutions lists the schools and programs that focus on food industry structure and behavior or that conduct research on alternative food systems
